Help flood victims in the Philippines

It’s been raining heavily and non-stop for 2 days now,..and according to news, it may last up to Thursday, August 9, 2012. A huge part of Manila is already submerged, hundreds of people are dead, injured and missing and thousands are stranded with limited supply of clothing, food and electricity.

Meanwhile, those who are in safer areas cannot easily reach out to people in need immediate help. One good way, however, is to donate to humanitarian organizations that are officially accepting monetary donations for the flood victims.

Red Cross is accepting donations through Paypal (those overseas can donate too!), uShare, Green Peso, BancNet, Globe GCash, Multiply, etc. They also accept bank deposits.

Damn and I thought the storm floods here Guatemala were bad D= I hope it stopped raining by now! I'd donate but all my money is currently in my Grandma's hands in the form of Quetzales

@Itsuba: Aww, thanks so much! Aside from our ceiling needing repairs and replacements, nothing worse happened. Those that were more affected near my area have recovered fast too. ^^ I hope people will be more alert next time, though.

@DontQuestionIt: It's alright!:) Well wishes are enough. Yeah, during these past several years, I think each natural disaster is getting worse. :(
